Security considerations:
GeoCat recommends upgrading to take advantage of the latest security fixes
GeoServer uses the log4j1 library, and not the log4j2 library with wildly publicized remote code execution vulnerabilities.
Out of an abundance of caution this release includes a patched log4j1 library removing all possibilities of remote loggers and socket communication.
GeoCat respects the GeoServer responsible disclosure policy, contact us directly to discuss for a list of known security vulnerabilities.
