Supported data formats

The importer supports any format that GeoServer can use a data store or coverage store. These include the most commonly used formats:

• Shapefile

• GeoTIFF

And a few additional formats:

• CSV

• KML

The following databases are supported:

• PostGIS

• Oracle

• Microsoft SQL Server

Note

Oracle and SQL Server require extra drivers to be installed.
