GeoCat Bridge is a powerful tool for one-click publishing directly to GeoCat Live.

This article addresses specific opportunities when using GeoCat Bridge.

GeoCat Bridge Workspace Mode Preview

When using GeoCat Bridge in workspace mode to publish a map it will completely replace your workspace.

To transfer a map that bridge has published in "workspace mode" into an existing project workspace.

1. Use GeoCat Bridge to publish to a new preview workspace.

2. Checking the result with subject matter expert.

   Use Symbology only setting in GeoCat Bridge when adjusting styling during review.

   You may also cut and paste directly from GeoCat Bridge Style viewer panel to the GeoServer Style Editor.

3. Move the Store from preview to workspace (the layers will move also).

4. Move styles from preview to project workspace.

   Confirm using the style editor Layer Preview that each layer is rendering correctly.

   If required use Resource Browser to move any icons or fonts to the project workspace.

   Navigate to workspaces/preview/styles, using cut and Paste to move to workspaces/project/styles folder.

5. Change LayerGroup from preview to workspace.

This approach can be used as part of a pre-production check.
