Catalogue schema-plugins

The Catalogue services are setup with a default set of GeoNetwork schema-plugins. Schema-plugins define metadata-datamodels for various communities.

https://metadata101.org lists a set of schema-plugins available for GeoNetwork.

Each schema plugin includes schema for data structure validation, schematron rules for content validation. Some schema plugins include helpful editor customizations.

Schema plugins may also include sample records and templates for your review (you may always remove them after).
